In the Netherlands, 2.5 million people struggle daily with reading, writing, math, and digital skills, also called basic skills. These deficiencies make it difficult for them to fully participate in society, such as reading and understanding a letter or buying a train ticket, leading to various personal and societal problems.

The Eindhoven Engine News – October 2019 is out now. The focus of this edition is the results of OpenCall 2019.

Before the submission deadline of the OpenCall 2019, Eindhoven Engine has received seven project proposals. Together they represent an R&D effort of more than 18 M€ and have applied for about 2.4 M€ support by means of RegioDeal funding. As published in the call, as much as 2.0 M€ RegioDeal funding has been made available for this call (with a maximum of 500 k€ per project). Read more…
