Help shape circular water hubs

Are you ready to use your communication and/or marketing skills to tackle one of the biggest challenges of our time?

Climate change is reshaping our world. Especially when it comes to water availability. Longer droughts and heavier rainfall are becoming the norm. To adapt, we need smart, circular solutions. That’s where regional water hubs come in: innovative systems that reuse and store water locally, using sources like cities and highways.

At Eindhoven Engine, in collaboration with Rijkswaterstaat, we’re working on creating these hubs in the Brainport region. But to make this vision a reality, we need more partners, more awareness, and more engagement.

Assignment

We’re looking for a motivated marketing & communication student to help us:

  • Advise on stakeholder engagement and help shape the narrative around climate-adaptive water management
  • Explore and map potential partners who could contribute to the water hub initiative
  • Develop communication strategies to raise awareness and promote collaboration
  • Create content (e.g. social media posts, infographics, presentations) to explain the concept and its impact

Skills and competencies

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Creativity and a proactive mindset
  • Analytical thinking and research skills
  • Organisational talent and ability to work independently
  • Interest in sustainability, innovation, and societal impact
